This is what is important to us.

Authority of the Bible

We believe that the Bible is the true word of God. As such it is our operating manual that guides and provides direction for every ministry at Beacon Light. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Biblical Community

We believe that Beacon Light is a community of believers united and committed together toward love, acceptance, and forgiveness in Christ. Acts 2:42,44-47; John 13:34-35

Discipleship

We believe that Christian Education is the foundation for equipping people with knowledge of God’s word. 2 Corinthians 3:18; Romans 12:1-2

Evangelism

We believe in Jesus’ command to share his gospel. Matthew 28:18-20

Fellowship

We believe that fellowship strengthens our bond with God and one another. 1 Corinthians 13, John 13:34-35

Ministry

We believe that every Christian has been called to serve in ministry. 1 Corinthians 12, 14; Romans 12

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer. Philippians 4:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Worship

We believe that congregational worship is essential to the life of the local Church. John 4:21-24, Luke 10:38-41
